A giant vulva hangs suspended, floating between worlds.
So much to see, to feel, to honour.
It offers no confusion, yet no instructions —
you learn through touch, through instinct, through reverence.
Because this knowing matters,                                                                                                 and all the senses are valued here.

Here lies the key to everything —
the pulse of the universe gathered in one sacred place.
A temple of creation, a site of mystery and magic.
Whare tangata — the birthplace of us all.
A seed takes hold here, cradled in warmth and nourishment,
until the world receives what began in the dark.

For centuries, women have been feared for this power.
From ancient fires to modern hands,
the story remains the same —
wars fought, lives taken, gods rewritten.
The sacred centre — the pussy —
revered, silenced, weaponised, desired, dominated.
Fear breeds distance.
Assumption kills understanding.

A wheelchair wheel holds the story  —
a quiet symbol of ability and fragility,
of the body’s shifting cycles,
of menopause and metamorphosis.
The circle returns again —
birth, life, death, renewal —
the unbroken rhythm of becoming.

The work is woven from reclaimed T-shirts,
threads once discarded, now reborn.
Each strand a whisper of what is cast aside,
and what still holds value.

The painted keys, the symbol of unlocking and entry.
At the core, a beaded clitoris gleams —
a constellation of stories,
a reminder of her voice, her history, her power.
